Arkansas Jazz Educators

The Arkansas Jazz Educators was established to promote the understanding and appreciation of jazz and its artistic performance, and to help interested parties in the development of jazz in schools and universities.

The Arkansas Jazz Educators would like to thank Dr. Warren Casey for his past service to Arkansas and his contributions to jazz and jazz education. Dr. Casey has been a major influence on jazz in the state for more than 25 years both as one of the earliest members of the Arkansas Unit of the International Association for Jazz Education, and more recently as a founding member of the Arkansas Jazz Educators. Warren is stepping down from his long-time position as the treasurer of ARJE. We appreciate everything you've done for jazz, music education, and for Arkansas.
